Having grown up with the Internet Samantha Rose Hunt, who had her first
blog at 13 has not only a strong knowledge and understanding about how
the web works, but has an eye for how the web is evolving.
Samantha attended North Carolina State University where she majored in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and Public Relations. She obtained her real estate license while in college, and worked for Coldwell Banker Commercial facilitating referrals and relocations between our commercial and residential offices while also handling large multi-family housing investment portfolios all across the country. Her passion for sales, and marketing of her product would soon lead her to utilize her web skills to the best of her ability encouraging her company to establish a greater web presence.
As the real estate market began a decline she made the decision to look into other opportunities, she couldn’t give up her freedom so the corporate world was no longer something she wanted to be involved in. Samantha then took to one of her major skills- writing, and began freelancing. She began working for any publications which would take her branching out blogging, etc. She first landed a job with The Organic Mechanic- a website devoted to saving the planet, and from there was able to get a position at TG Daily, as a green technology editor, a position which has evolved over time until she was handling social media and aiding in the development of new and fresh ideas to deliver a younger demographic to the site. Additionally she currently holds a position as a contributor for APC Magazine (print) and also APCMag.com, which reviews and covers tech products and news.
The combination of jobs- marketing and journalism have given Samantha an edge, she has an ability to predict web patterns, and works hard to anticipate the Internet's "next move" in an attempt to better aid her clients as they make proper marketing decisions.
She has discovered that marketing these days is almost free, and having a large, intense marketing staff is no longer important. Proper implementation of the right concepts and ideas can make any company successful.
